Update on Safety Management System (SMS) implementation.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing world-class service, we always actively observe and collect passengers' feedback and suggestions to identify all the possible aspects that we can improve. And we are excited to share with you our monthly progress. 

At the end of this August e-newsletter, we would like to share some important information regarding our safety management processes. We've implemented a series of safety management documents, established a safety team to take charge, and successfully trained them as well as other departments on the Safety Management System (SMS).

* Safety Management System (SMS) is a systematic, hierarchical, and organized approach to identifying potential hazards and managing risks that may arise during aviation operations. This system comprises safety regulations, policies, risk management, safety assurance, and safety promotion. It involves staff training and development to ensure safety in aviation operations while maintaining preparedness and resources to respond to potential safety incidents.

Identifying hazards (Hazard Identification - HI) and providing solutions to mitigate risks (Risk Assessment - RA) play a crucial role in SMS operation. Following the recent training, our Maintenance Team has conducted Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and has found 367 points within Terminal 2 that could pose risks to people.

We have also sent out emails to our airline partners explaining how to identify hazards (Hazard Identification - HI). If any issues are found, we have requested that you share this information with our Safety Team for timely resolution.

Below are two methods for reporting safety-related issues:

Method 1: You can send an email directly to sms@ahtcorp.vn.

Method 2: You can scan the QR code provided and fill out the form following the instructions.


When sending a report, please include the following information:

Your full name and department: In case you wish to remain anonymous, you can use Method 2 (QR code reporting).

Details of the incident: Include the date, time, location, a clear description, and a summary of the incident. It's recommended to attach images or videos to aid in understanding.
