In order to enhance the attraction of tourists from the Russian market and Eastern European countries to visit and resort in Da Nang; Department of Tourism in collaboration with ANEX Tourism Group (ATG) held a ceremony to announce the opening of Danang direct flight to Russia.

Anex Vietnam is a member of Anex Tourism Group (ATG, Head Office in Moscow, Russia), with the mission of operating and serving charter flights from different Russian-speaking markets come to Vietnam for tourism and relaxation.

Since its inception in 2014, Anex Vietnam has brought nearly 1.5 million passengers from Russia via Cam Ranh and Phu Quoc international airports to many destinations such as Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Phan Rang (Ninh Thuan), Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan), Phu Quoc (Kien Giang). Anex Vietnam currently plans to develop some new destinations in Vietnam for Russian-speaking market visitors.

According to the plan of Da Nang People's Committee, Anex Vietnam has officially informed the Danang Tourism Department of flight schedule from Russia to Da Nang (expected schedule). Accordingly, from March to September 2020 onwards, the Russian - Da Nang charter flight will operate with a frequency of 10 days/ flight using the Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft. Depending on the actual weather condition in Da Nang, Anex Vietnam will consider maintaining winter flights.

It is expected that the flight schedule will start from 3-4 Russian cities, including Novosibirsk, Krasnoyask, Irkutsk and Moscow. Frequency of operating 10 days/trip/city on Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 aircraft; The number of guests is expected to be about 3,000 guests/month.

To prepare for these new flights, ANEX conducted a survey of 10 hotels in Danang to meet the accommodation needs and use the services of about 90 Russian guests in 10 nights of sightseeing in Danang. The Russian tourist market is pretty special as they tend to stay long days with interest in relaxation, shopping, massage ... Therefor, in the near future, the city tourism industry will organize more inside activities as well as night activities to attract guests to Da Nang.

This is the first time Anex Vietnam has opened a new market in Da Nang and at the right time of summer in Europe, Anex Vietnam hopes to  well coperated with Department of Tourism of Da Nang in order to deploy and maintain new flight path. Along with that, Anex Vietnam also proposed Da Nang to have discount on the price of famous sightseeing places in the city for Russian visitors passing the charter route of Anex Vietnam.

The event that Danang opens a direct flight to Russia will not only attract tourists from the Russian market but also from Eastern European countries to visit and resort in Danang. Up to July, 2019, there has been 48 international routes to Da Nang with a frequency of 462 flights/week and 11 domestic routes with 665 flights/week and 31 routes of chartered flights with 63 flights/week.
