Re-opening international Da Nang - Taipei flight after the discontinuity time by the Covid-19 outbreak

On October 28, at 9:35 a.m, Starlux Airlines flight JX701 from Taipei landed at Da Nang International Airport, marking the return of Starlux Airlines since the Covid-19 pandemic. 

According to information from Starlux Airlines, the Da Nang - Taipei route operated by Starlux Airlines with 3 flights per week; the flight journey is 2 hours and 50 minutes. This is the good news of Da Nang tourism in connecting tourist source markets, contributing to the growth of international tourists. It is expected that Starlux Airlines will increase the frequency of flights to Da Nang in December.

Recently, the number of international visitors increased by 19% in the first nine months of 2022 compared to the same period in 2019 (before the Covid-19 pandemic).

To commemorate this occasion, the Department of Tourism, Tourism Promotions Center, Da Nang International Airport, AHT and Starlux Airlines greeted all visitors at the international arrival terminal with flowers and presents.

Mr. Roger Yen, Chief Representative of Starlux Airlines in Vietnam, stated: "After a time affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, we not only resumed flights to Taipei and Da Nang but also expanded the frequency of flights capacity beginning in December. Da Nang has long been one of the most appealing and new tourist locations. Therefore we anticipate flights will exploit the maximum ability to meet visitors' expectations".
